This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.A new pulse sequence has been developed that allows the measurement of amide proton T1rho relaxation at higher sensitivity, higher accuracy and higher effective fields than previous sequences. The sequence will be used to detect micorsecond time scale dynamics in cardiac Troponin C. In comarison established N15 relaxation dispersion experiments will be measured as well to verify the results.
