We are trying to measure two-photon absorption cross sections using the photon counting histogram (PCH). PCH analysis can tell us the molecular brightness and average particle number of our fluorescent sample. Using the molecular brightness and quantum yield we can then calculate the cross section relative to a known standard, fluorescein.
