The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Molecule under investigation form 1D nanofibers which is polycrystalline in nature. As polarized emmision show varying intensities with changes in the angle of emmision polarizer, suggesting different orientation of crystal phases. Using the spectopolarimeter, we want to investigate supramolecule induced chirality due to molecular organization within the nanofibers. The experiment was carried out by dispersion of molecule from good solvent (chloroform) to poor solvent (methanol).
