The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.This project works with glucose binding proteins conjugated with a fluorophore. The amount of glucose in solution effects the fluorescence quenching. We will be doing scans of the protein in solution using a fluorometer to get an idea of the fluorescence response to different glucose concentrations.
