Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Evaluate a new 7T coil (quadrature and has the combiner on the coil made by the GE ASL lab) using water phantoms and compare to existing coils. GE is sending coil to Jerry Dahlke and then Gary/Jerry can decide which phantom to scan based on how big the coil is. If CIVM's quadrature hardware is running at the time, then a comparison can be made.
