This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. This grant period saw the publication of the Who?s Who in Fluorescence 2004 volume. The series, which was originally launched in 2003 and is published by Springer, publishes contact details and a brief description of one?s fluorescence based specialty. The Who?s who in Fluorescence volume (WWIF) is disseminated around the world through conferences and on request to individuals by contacting the CFS. Many copies were given away, free of charge, at the Biophysical Society meeting in Baltimore, February 2004. To date over 10,000 copies have been distributed in its 3 years of production. The WWIF is the point source of contact details and keyword specialty in the Fluorescence community.
