The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.Children and clinical subjects often move during an fMRI scan session. For small motions (less than 1 mm), the accuracy of results can be improved by including linear motion parameters in the design analysis. However, a survey of 26 fMRI data sets showed that more than 80% of male fragile X adolescents moved more than 1 mm in a scan session, and some moved up to 7 mm.
