This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Ohio State University Mathematical Biosciences Institute received funding from the National Science Foundation to organize a series of week-long workshops that addressed computational issues in the biological sciences. Prof. costello was an invited participant in Workshop 4: Emerging Genomic Technologies and Data Integration, held February 21-24, 2005. Although the participants in this workshop were primarily working in the areas of gene expression, they relied upon the mass spectometrists in attendance to provide information on characterization of the expressed proteins. The meeting was well organized to allow extensive dialogue among participants.
