This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.We are investigating ways to segment tumor volumes from MRI images of human brains, and to predict how the tumor will grow over time. We are also interested in predicting occult tumor cells, from MRI scans, to improve treatment planning.This work is with members of the Cross Cancer Institute of Edmonton, which is part of the Alberta Cancer Board.
