This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. We are in the planning stages for a workshop devoted to High Field/High Frequency ESR/EPR (HFHF ESR) will be held on November 4th through 6th in Ithaca, NY USA. The workshop (High Field ESR 2005) will be hosted by the Center for Advanced ESR Technology (ACERT). The venue for the meeting will be Cornell University. High Field ESR 2005 will present a cross-section of practical techniques and hands-on experience for participants who wish to explore what advantages HFHF ESR can offer for studying biological and other systems. Topics will include: instrumentation, sample preparation, data collection and spectral analysis. Invited speakers will present talks designed to highlight recent progress in these areas and promote discussion of current needs.
