Specific Aims The Administrative Core is made up of two groups, the Scientific Leadership Committee (SLC) and theOperations Team (OT). They work together to enhance the quality and impact of cancer communicationresearch and career development activities conducted at our CECCR by addressing three specific aims:1. Provide scientific leadership by setting research priorities, building strategic research partnerships,identifying opportunities for interdisciplinary cancer communication research, and recruiting scientifictalent to the CECCR.2. Foster research synergy by assuring that CECCR studies, cores and programs are highly integratedinternally and well connected externally to research activities in cancer, communication and disparities.3. Maximize efficiency and productivity of CECCR studies, cores and programs by providing outstandingadministrative, budgetary and technology support, and helping plan and coordinate CECCR research.
