This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.During the period covered by this report, studies continued on the properties of neurons in the cervical spinal cord. These studies will elucidate the contribution of spinal cord circuits to the control of voluntary movements in normal, behaving primates. Our long-term goal is understand, and overcome, the motor deficits associated with CNS injury or disease.
