OverviewProject EXPORT- 'A Center of Excellence' (PEACE) will have five primary cores: Administrative Core Research Core (including the pilot studies) Shared Resources Core (Biostatistics, and Data Management Core) Community Participatory Research and Outreach Core (CPRO Core) Research Education and Training CoreThe purpose of these cores is to clearly delineate responsibilities for maintaining all of the activities of PEACE.Each core will continue to have its own leader and those leaders will continue to meet on a regular basis toensure that the aims of the all of the projects are being met. The leaders of each core will be the same as theleadership assigned to the overarching CRMH cores.The focal point of PEACE will remain Community Participatory Research and Outreach (CPRO) Core, whichwill continue to provide the foundation (network and contacts) for the operation of all of the other Cores.Although not a part of PEACE, the Clinical Core of the CRMH will work with PEACE to address the clinicalneeds of persons involved with prevention and intervention studies. In addition, PEACE will have access toother support through the Department of Health Disparities Research and will continue to be linked tocorresponding units within M. D. Anderson, PVAMU and the other collaborating institutions.
