F. Program Administration: The Score PO will be in contact with the Pis and other personnel ascribed to the project in order to promote the accomplishment of the objectives and goals of the project. He will work in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant in all matters that could prevent the normal function and productivity of the project. The SCORE PD, being director of an institutional project, will be under the authority of both the Dean of Academic Affairs and the Dean of Administrative Affairs and will serve as a liaison between the Pis and the UPRH administration. Due to his knowledge of NIH policies, transactions within the project budgets have to be approved by the PD before going into UPRH administrative offices. The PD will also supervise the enforcement of institutional rules regarding safety and proper disposal of research materials and will monitor the progress of each subproject towards the accomplishment of the subproject goals.
