The IAA with USAID is to support projects administered under the auspices of the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria/Tropical Diseases Research (MIM/TDR) program based at the World Health Organization. These research projects are carried out by African scientists at African Institutions, often working in collaboration with each other, and are focused on development or improvement of tools for malaria control.
