The National Library of Medicine, through the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) plan to develop jointly a repository of next generation sequence data with computed alignments to standard reference dwuences as a limited access database through which the biomedical research community can access and leverage the primary genectic data produced by NINDS's portfolio of research studies. The program's framework has produced resources of exceptional value with broad utility for public health research.
