This award supports a joint software project between the National Center for Supercomputer Applications (NCSA) and Jackson State University. Dr. Joseph Hardin, Manager of the Software Development Group at NCSA will Collaborate with Dr. William Lupton, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science at Jackson State on the development of scientific visualization tool sets, specifically in the IBM PC MS-DOS environment. These tools are designed to run on researchers' work stations in conjunction with remote servers, such as supercomputers.
