The Joint Office for Science Support to support on-going and planned NSF Atmospheric Science Division science field campaigns. The funds supporting the field campaigns are provided from various agencies to help with personnel and logistical cost associated conducting the research to take. This includes transport of radars, aircraft flight hours, research equipment, and etc. Particularly, NSF's Lower Atmospheric Facilities program supports on-going requirements of selected JOSS core staff.
