Abstract

9313930 Ghil This grant supports approximately 12 graduate students and post docs at a summer school on assimilation of meteorological and oceanographical observations in France. The topic is of utmost importance to climate research and the educational and training opportunity thus provided to US students and new Ph.D.s is outstanding. NSF and NASA are jointly supporting this grant.
