The adaptive optics capability of U.S. Air Force's Advanced Electro-Optical System telescope will be used to search for auroral and airglow emissions from the Martian atmosphere. If successful, the observations will help better understand atmospheric and ionospheric processes in the Martian environment. The work will be included in Boston University's on-going public outreach efforts through the Young Adult program at the Boston Public Library.
