Abstract

This award provides for the purchase of a NMR spectrometer for the use of members of the Department of Chemistry. It will be used in their research into the chemistry of naturally occurring compounds, coal liquefication, and biochemical reactions. The instrument will broaden the educational opportunities for undergraduate students.
