Travel assistance funds are provided for invited foreign speakers for the ACS Symposium on Thin Film and Related Phenomena to be held in Chicago, Ilinois, on September 8-13, 1985. The study of thin film phenomena is central to the major thrust of the Thermodynamic and Transport Phenomena Program, and it has important interdisciplinary implications. Symposium speakers from Belgium, West Germany, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Italy, and France are invited.
