Travel support is provided for this investigator to attend a conference where she will present a paper based on her research that was supported by the National Science Foundation. This research led to the development of an analytical procedure to determine the amount of extracellular polysaccharides in microbial matter that is circulated within a wstewater treatment process without contamination by intracellular substances.
