This is an award to provide partial support for travel of five US participants to a US-China Conference on Bioreaction and Bioseparation in Hangzhou, People's Republic of China from June 8 to 12, 1992. The main subjects of the Conference are Bioreaction Kinetics, Transport Phenomena in a Bioreactor, Bioreactor Design, Principles of Bioseparation, New Approaches in Bioseparation Methods, Integrated Bioreaction and Separation, and Process Modeling and Control of Bioreaction and Bioseparation. Conference Proceedings are to be published.
