This project involves travel support for three U.S. computer science professors to attend the IEEE Eleventh Annual International Computer Software & Application Conference (COMPSAC) to be held in Tokyo, Japan on October 7-9, 1987. The objectives of the trip to attend COMPSAC 87 in Japan are: (a) to present papers and chair session at the conference. (b) to interact with computer scientists outside USA, especially those in Japan. (c) to increase the understanding of computer education and technology in Japan. (d) to seek joint research between computer scientists in USA and Japan.
