This travel grant provides the opportunity for professionals and researchers to take advantage of the information presented, ideas exchanged, and collaboration with international professionals in the areas of retrofit and nondestructive evaluation and testing applied to constructed facilities. The 3-day International Conference entitled "Extending the Life of Bridges, Civil and Building Structures" is scheduled for June 29 - July 1, 1993 at Edinburgh, Scotland. Individuals selected represent a broad sector of the practice and research community and will be presenting technical papers at the various sessions.
