9415420 Soyster TRP funding will help launch Pennsylvania State University's new Masters of Science in Quality and Manufacturing Program--a joint venture of Penn State's Colleges of Business and Engineering. This innovative program will integrate the perspectives of engineering, business, industry, and academia for 45 students a year to study real world manufacturing problems. This program has been in the design stages for the past two years and benchmarked against other leading programs in the United States. Penn State's industrial partners include IBM, Ford Motor Company, Murata Erie, Atotech, and Gilbarco.
