ABSTRACT "Louisiana State University Request for High Performance Connection to vBNS" Louisiana State University PI: George Strain NCR-9871138 This award is made under the high performance connections portion of ANIR's "Connections to the Internet" announcement, NSF 96-64. It provides partial support for two years for a DS-3 connection to the vBNS or other approved high performance network. Applications include research projects regarding computational materials, gravity waves, astrobiology, earth sciences, astrophysics and silicon chip design.
