The Clemson Calculus Challenge (CCC) is a one-day calculus contest for high school students that is held each spring at Clemson University. The CCC provides a forum for mathematically-interested high school students to compete against one another and showcase their calculus talents in both an individual event and a team competition.

The funds will be used to expand the current CCC to accommodate up to 250 participants by attracting high schools throughout the southeast (within a 300 mile radius of Clemson University). The majority of the requested funds will be used to provide travel funds so that more high schools can participate and to increase the participation by targeted schools that are financially disadvantaged or whose population contains a high proportion of first generation or economically challenged students.
