The Roswell Park Cancer Institute will continue an eight-week, residential and commuter Young Scholars project in Molecular and Cellular Biology for 20 students entering grade 12. Supervised by senior scientific staff, particpants will conduct an independent project using modern biological, biochemical and biophysical techniques. Results will be presented in a Scientific Conference using both oral and poster formats. Students are expected to attend lectures on Molecular and Cellular Biology, ethics in science, career exploration opportunities and the NSF Distinguished Lecture Series. Through participation in research, classroom and conference activities, particpants are exposed to a world renowned research center.
