This project is providing a minimum of 28 scholarships in varying amounts to a maximum of $3125 per year to students majoring in computer science or engineering. Recipients are fulltime students who are U. S. citizens or nationals, refugee aliens or permanent residents with financial need as established by application of U. S. Dept. of Education guidelines. Students maintaining their academic eligibility receive a scholarship for as many as four years. The academic programs are bolstered by support services, including tutoring services at no cost to the student, career advisement, and both faculty and peer mentoring.
