This project uses popular media (movies and television) in the physics classroom to demonstrate the application of physics principles. The products of the project include a 2-disc DVD set with more than one hundred 3-5 minute clips from movies and television shows that are familiar to most students. Accompanying each clip is an activity sheet and lesson plan that contributes to the student's understanding of a particular physics principle generally taught in college and high school physics courses. These materials are being broadly disseminated via the internet or other media for use in both high school and college/university classrooms.
