This project enhances this institution's existing program in wastewater and hazardous waste treatment. With the ion chromatograph obtained with this award, students are able to study industrial and hazardous waste treatment in a hands-on laboratory at the same time they are studying the concepts in the classroom. This award is being matched by an equal sum from the grantee.
