This grant supports the development of a state-of-the-art computing environment for undergraduate majors in computer science and the upgrade of the curriculum by enhancing the existing courses in graphics and operating systems and developing courses in networking and artificial intelligence. The computing environment purchased includes an advanced lab of networked multitasking workstations; a classroom equipped for demonstration; and curriculum development resources. The institution is proving matching funds in an amount equal to or greater than the funds provided by the Foundation.
