Abstract

Students are using an Advanced Computer Laboratory, equipped with networked SUN SPARC workstations and Mac IIci computers, in their advanced mathematics courses. All mathematics majors are required to encounter contemporary mathematical computing tools for symbolic, graphical, statistical, and numerical purposes.
