Six workshops of two or three days duration will be held in August of 1996 at Clemson University on the weekend prior to the 14th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education, also to be held at Clemson. A total of 108 faculty will attend workshops on Chemical Education Research (Diane Bunce, Catholic University and Dorothy Gabel, Indiana University), Laboratory Teaching and Assessment (Melanie Cooper, Clemson University and Robert Silberman, SUNY at Cortland), High-field NMR Spectroscopy (Wendall Jennings, Montana State University and Aleksandr Kitaygorodskiy, Clemson University), X-Ray Crystallography (Wallace Cordes, University of Arkansas and Clinton Bryan, Cameron University), Mass Spectrometry (Kenneth Marcus, Clemson University), or Polymers and Polymer Processing (Michael Drews, Michael Ellison, and Gary Lickfield, Clemson University).
