Abstract

9709399 Hauri Funding is requested to support a 2-person, 6-week field program in the island of Rapa, located in the Austral Islands chain of French Polynesia. The field party will construct a geologic map and collect samples of volcanic rocks and mantle nodules. Funds to support the geochemical analysis of these samples are not requested here.
