This Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education (NUE) program entitled, "NUE: Development of an Undergraduate Cross-College NANOLAB at UT Austin," at the University of Texas at Austin, under the direction of Dr. Brian A. Korgel , will develop an upper-division undergraduate laboratory, called the NANOLAB, which will introduce engineering and natural sciences students to nanoscale science and engineering concepts.
The proposal for this award was received in response to the Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education (NUE) Program Solicitation (NSF 06-538), and is being co-funded by the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR), Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) and the following Divisions within the Directorate for Engineering: Bioengineering and Environmental Systems (BES), Chemical and Transport Systems (CTS), Design and Manufacturing Innovation (DMI), Civil and Mechanical Systems (CMS), and Engineering Education and Centers (EEC).
