Material for a rapid prototyping facility will be provided for researchers at Dartmouth University for research in the Thayer School of Engineering. This equipment is provided under the Instrumentation Grants for Research in Computer and Information Science and Engineering program. The research for which the equipment is to be used will be in the areas of: o The MGC: A Special Purpose Computer for Molecular Genetics o Hardware Implementation of the Fast Hartley Transform o Cost-effective Plasma Simulation VIA Special Purpose Computers o Hardware Techniques for Monte Carlo Simulation.
