9452853 cOLE The purpose of this proposal is to conduct a policy conference for key policymakers, educators, and members of the business community in Connecticut on institutionalizing systemic reform. The conference will feature remarks by Lowell Weicker, Governor, and Dr. Luther S. Williams, Assistant Director, Education and Human Resources, National Science Foundation. The conference will also provide an opportunity for dialogue and planning among participants about various strategies for institutionalizing systemic reform in mathematics and science education. ***
