The multi-university I/UCRC for Water Quality joins the University of Arizona and Arizona State University to develop a partnership that will lead to scientific breakthroughs in water quality research. It provides a platform to address issues as diverse as water quality by capitalizing on the strengths of partner organizations. Future research will include; early warning system/water security; detection and elimination of contaminants; fate and remediation of organic and inorganic contaminants; endocrine disrupting chemicals; methods development for viability and infectivity of pathogens; water reuse; and potable water quality.
