This application is for a group travel award for 5 U.S. scientists to attend an international conference on the application of advances in biotechnology to the conservation of genetic diversity. The conference will be held on September 4-5, 1990, at the Zoological Society of London, London, U.K. The conference is sponsored by the Zoological society of London, and supported by a grant from the Royal Society (U.K.), and the proceedings will be published as part of a Symposium series of the Zoological Society of London. There are 22 invited speakers, of which 9 are from the U.S. Funding is requested for air fares for 5 of the U.S. participants.
