This award provides support for the seventh meeting to be held at The Evergreen State College dealing primarily with bacteriophage T4. Previous meetings were in the summers of 1978, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985 and 1987. The meeting is organized by Drs. Elizabeth Kutter and Burton Guttman; others participating on the organizing committee include Bruce Alberts (UCSF), Karin Carlson (Uppsalla, Sweden), Dwight Hall (Georgia Tech), Fred Eiserling (UCLA), Jim Karam (Medical University of South Caroline), Chris Mathews (Oregon State), Gisela Mosig (Vanderbilt), T. Minagawa (Kyoto, Japan).
