The University of Southern California will operate the research vessel VICKERS in 1991 as a general purpose oceanographic vessel in support of various NSF-sponsored research projects. The VICKERS is owned and operated by the USC. The research vessel will provide 94 days of ship time in support of NSF programs and will operate primarily in the central Pacific area.
