This award supports a Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) Site propposal to provide research experiences for selected undergraduates in studies related to Biological Oceanography, to acquaint the students with the excitement and opportunitiies of academic research and to encourage them to pursue graduate studies and a career in ocean sciences.
