This award will help support of the student program for the XVIIth Particles and Nuclei International Conference (PANIC05), in Santa Fe, NM. Details about the conference can be found at http://panic05.lanl.gov/. This series of conferences explores physics at the intersections of particle, nuclear, and astrophysics/cosmology. The student program was designed to enhance undergraduate and graduate students conference experience. Student activities include full conference attendance, eligibility for a reduced conference fee, a poster session for the presentation of student research (for those students not presenting their work in a regular oral session), introductions to hot topics discussed at the meeting, and a special recruiting event.
