This action would provide funds for a topical conference entitled "Eighth High Energy Physics Conference" to be held at Vanderbilt University on October 8-10, 1987. The conference is open to all who wish to attend. The number of participants expected is between 75 and 100. The major topics covered will be new results from colliders, collider detector development, future accelerators, and theoretical overview of physics from colliders.
