This award provides support for student attendance at the upcoming Gordon Research Conference on Nonlinear Optics and Lasers to be held at New London, New Hampshire, 25-30 July, 1999. The conference program covers some of the most advanced topics in current ultrafast phenomena, with applications from fundamental studies to more applied areas. Funding for the award comes jointly from the Physics Division and the Division of Electrical and Communications Systems.
