The goal of the BPCA Program is to improve pediatric therapeutics through preclinical and clinical drug trials that lead to drug labeling changes. This Program will develop and support a comprehensive national research and training effort to increase the knowledge base for treating diseases in pregnant women, infants, and children, using drugs that are appropriately tested within these target populations.
