The specific aims of this study are to determine whether HIV-infected patients with lipoatrophy have impaired glucose uptake and utilization in subcutaneous and visceral fat depots using Positron Emission Tomography (PET) techniques before and during a hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp.
